Versatile tree tent for families and small groups
If you’re looking for a tree tent to cover all the bases, look no further than the Stingray. This is Tentsile’s flagship model: a versatile tree tent designed for families and small groups, with enough space for up to 3 adults (or 2 adults and 2 children) to sleep in comfort. First time tree campers will love its ease of set-up, practical storage options, user-friendly design and impressive interior space. It’s a great option for car camping with friends and family or setting up a basecamp on a multi-day trip. It even can be set up on sloped hillsides, wet lakeshores and riverbanks or lumpy, bumpy ground, which makes it perfect for everything for canoe trips to wild camps. It also packs down into a single bag that can be carried as a rucksack, opening up even more opportunity for elevated adventures.

It’s not a stretch to say that Tentsile’s revolutionary tree tents have redefined what it means to go camping in the woods. Part hammock, part tent, part portable treehouse, the brand’s geometric suspended shelters literally elevate your time outdoors. Tentsile’s unique 3-point anchoring system creates a tent floor with the perfect balance of tension and ‘give’ to cushion and cradle your body, whilst keeping you off the cold, hard ground. The result? A lofty and immersive camping experience that is cosy, comfortable and completely unique.
But there’s more to Tentsile than just clever design. From the outset, the brand has been on a mission to help protect and conserve the world’s forests. We should know. WildBounds has a long association with Tentsile – in fact, it was the first tent brand that we ever stocked. As early adopters of the brand, we were huge advocates of their innovative products and eco-conscious ethos. And since those early days, Tentsile has helped plant over 1,000,000 trees in projects located across Madagascar, India, Zambia and Oregon.
For them and us, it’s about inspiring everybody to connect and interact with nature in new and fun ways. Because, as founder Alex Shirley-Smith aptly puts it: “If we’re all hanging out in trees, they can’t chop them down”.
